Emotional resilience is one’s ability to cope and adapt to stressful situations and difficulties, to be able to bounce back when life or work challenges occur. Building emotional resilience is the only sure way to gain control back and take charge of your work and personal life.

We live in a time of tremendous political, environmental, and economic upheaval, increasing pressure at work and in life, leading to performance anxiety and high levels of stress, leaving many feeling helpless, frustrated, drained, disappointed, sad and struggling with the downswing of emotions. Mavis is an International human behaviour specialist, multiple award winning global training and development leader, author of several books including: Self-Leadership, Navigating The Rapids and Waves of Life: 10 Lessons to Managing Emotions for Success; Managing Emotions for Financial Freedom and others. Mavis is a frequent keynote speaker/trainer/facilitator at public and private engagements. She is also a Leadership Psychology Doctoral student with William James College USA and a master trainer for Emotional Intelligence.
